Magnificent NYC-based Artist ready to Perform for your special occasion.
East High School graduate, Trinity Colvin, was born and raised in Anchorage, Alaska. Her family had an immense musical influence on her from an early age, having her perform as a member of an organization of performers called Black Arts North Academy. This organization strengthened her dancing and acting abilities and later started singing and dancing alongside many Gospel and Alaskan artists.
During her elementary years Trinity was occupied performing in every show she could take part in. She worked closely with Alaska Theatre of Youth, Training Better Artists and Laura Model & Talent Agency. With Alaska Theatre Youth company, she took on roles such as Chester in a production of Bunnicula, Sebastian in The Little Mermaid and also Sour Kangaroo in Seussical the Musical.
Later on, during her high school years, not only did she place first chair in Alaska’s All State Choir competition she also competed at the National level for the NAACP’s Academic Cultural Talent & Science Olympics.
At the age of 17 years old, she was accepted as a Vocalist for the U.S Army Band and worked in the Army Band field for 5 years as the lead vocalist for Rock, Pop, RnB, Big Band and Jazz ensembles. In preparation for the demands of this job, she graduated Advanced Individual Training at the United States Army School of Music in Virginia Beach, Virgina in 2017. She continued her education in vocal training with Musician’s Institute College of Contemporary Arts by enrolling in their online Vocal Performance Associate Degree program while stationed overseas at Camp Humphreys in South Korea.
Her most recent work includes placing 1st in the Showtime at the Apollo talent competition, placing Gold in Talent Showcase and 1st in Film Scene for the Talent Inc International Acting and Modeling convention and competition in Orlando, Florida. She also earned $75k worth of scholarships to the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts as well as the American Musical Dramatic Academy to study Film and Musical Theater.
Trinity is currently making use of her scholarship at the American Musical & Dramatic Academy and is expected to graduate in the year 2026 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre. Outside of AMDA, she works as an instructor at Sweet N Sultry Dance & Fitness studio teaching Pole Dancing to beginner and advanced level students. She also works with Star Kidz in Harrison, New York as a vocal instructor to students aged 8-14. You might catch her singing with her band around the city!
